Consecutive interpreting

Consecutive interpreting is appropriate when it comes to smaller meetings, interviews, discussions ... The interpreter is close to the speaker and translates his words after the one speaks a particular thought unit. The speaker makes a break in the speech during which the interpreter pronounces a translation of the previously spoken words. This type of translation often requires keeping notes - the interpreter is obliged to transfer all the most important elements of the spoken content. Consecutive interpreting does not require equipment, but requires extraordinary memory and the concentration of an interpreter. Knowing the topic being discussed and the perfect knowledge of both languages in which communication is performed is implied.
